We then met up with my brother-in-law (who flew in late from Denver) and ate in the Diamond Club. Wow! The food was great and the staff was so friendly & attentive.

Then on to the main event...The seats were wonderful and again the staff was friendly & attentive (especially the woman who attended the entrance to the seating area, she seemed to think my sister was Bryce Harper's mother!).  The heat & humidity were quite high, it was so nice to be able to go back into the Diamond Club to cool off.

With a 0-0 tie going into the 8th inning, we were anticipating extra innings. But with three strikeouts for the game, in Bryce Harper's fourth at-bat, he came through with quite a dramatic home run that turned out to be the game winner! Sent us home happy.

As life-long baseball junkies,
we'll all remember the night for
a long time (and have a cool beer
stein to prove it!).

Thanks again to you & the
Onondaga County Volunteer
ireman's Association,
The Nationals made it a
great experience!
The best $5 I ever spent!!

Sincerely,

Dear Gordy and OCVFA:

I wanted to let you know that we attended the September 10th Nationals game against the Phillies.

What a wonderful experience!

Starting with watching batting practice on the field, my sister, niece & I had fun watching all of the little kids getting autographs. They all looked like they were having so much fun! The Nats seemed truly gracious to do this for the kids.
